Could this Audi led ambient lighting be wired into my bocanegra?

Ahh, good point, actually reading it again it looks pretty simple really, drill holes, fit LEDs, done
Simple way to find out is to remove your interior light uni and see if it has the spade connectors and the little circle bits that feature in the how to, I don't remember anyone on here saying they've done it this way.

Drilled some holes in my interior light today! Lets hope this works lol

Pics to follow

Edit

Just decided to use the way people have wired there footwell lights on here and while I'm at it I'm putting in some up in under the cup holders too.

So 2 LEDs on interior light and 4 at the cup holder wired to the dash dimmer, easy enough and for the interior light you don't need any thing to attach the LEDs to it! Just a couple of drill bits

The facia for it is in 2 parts
The black trim and the white plastic that's holding the light casing

The black trim was drilled at 3.5mm and then removed then the white at 5mm so a 5mm led would slide in and stop at the other hole, so there not getting in your vision while driving!

Hard to explain with just text will try update tomorrow with pictures.

Looks like a DIY version of the W8 Light Mod?

You can do the W8 mod almost plug and play. I'm sure there's a guide in the FAQ section

No no no..... do NOT do this mod.
Iv done the W8 mod, and I would STRONGLY recommend no one with cupra/boc try this mod (dont know about other models but i suspect they are the same). All the guides that say its plug and play are wrong. It was a massive pain in the arse. The light is a completely different size and profile. It took me a full day, i had to drill new holes, make and fit wooden holders and supports in the tiny space where the old light used to be, cut things, file things down, and mess about for ages with it getting it to sit right..... trust me its just really not worth the effort. I mean yeh it looks good and everything, but if I had known it was going to be such a nightmare I would not have taken it on.

I did it and had no issues what so ever! Infact the guide I created was specific to the mk5.
Now on a Cupra/Boc I wouldn't do it anyway because the light is grey not black like the original one. But if you followed the guide correctly and had the correct parts then there is no issue.

It's definately not a difficult mod. (On an Ibiza without a sunroof anyway) can't speak for other models.

Little off topic but why the heck those pictures are out of focus? I've never seen so poor quality in making-ofs :D
Use Macro (the little flower thingy) to take pictures up close. :)

Nice mod I think, maybe doing one for myself too :)

Daytime photos, will take more at night!

it's the exact same as the center console led mods on here except I added 2 LEDs in the interior light.
