Alternator issues

Found out today that my alternator for my LCR has started squealing, sounds to me as the bearings are wearing out.

I've been looking for a replacment or a fix, seems as tho replacements go for around £150 for refurbs. Even seen some on ebay for £150ish aparently a new replacment.

What I was wondering firstly how hard are they to remove and fit, and if there is a way the bearings could be replaced at a respectable price? Maybe im not looking in the correct places?

Anyone know if the alternator in the cupra R is a 90amp or 120amp version?
