Hi folks,
Looking for a bit of advice to make sure I'm not being an idieot
I'm trying to remove the alternator clutch pulley as its seized. Tried testing it and it wont spin either direction.
I bought the correct spline tool for doing the job but cant for the life of me get the clutch off.
I have the spindle with the torx bit inserted in to the alternator shaft the the spline tool inserted in to the clutch.
With the spline tool being held I have tried to remove the clutch by using a battery rattle gun in the clockwise direction and it's not moving at all. Did try by hand but failed hence the rattle gun.
Does anybody know if this is correct or not????
Cheers
