Altea Special Edition

When I left full tiem employment at the end of Dec and started FinerDetails I sold my Altea in order to finance the company etc.

With our sole car left to be the P206 belonging to Mrs FD. Having spent a fair amount of time looking round, we finally found a car we are both happy with. So, all going to plan, we should be collecting it on Wednesday.

David Cook in Chadderton, Oldham has been spot on so far, and I'm not expecting anything less with collection etc.

Needless to say Mrs FD is more than pleased with her new car, and as we managed to pick up the Special Edition is comes with a few toys too.

Its based on the Stylance, and has Leather, Bluetooth, Rear Parking sensors, 17inch alloys, heated front seats.

We also added the chrome pack on the car (front grill, mirrors and tail gate lip) and the twin pipe chrome trim too. Cant wait for Wednesday to arrive, and get it home and Detailed. My last Altea was Tinta Black, but the new one is Black Magic

Sounds nice is it a TDi 140? Is it a dealer special or are SEAT offering these editions?

hi, it is the 140 TDi, and I think its a SEAT promo as all the local dealerships had one in their showroom. They all also had a Toledo Sort version, but the boot thing is just beyond me....

Only negative thing is that the leather is a sort of light grey colour which is going to get manky fairly quickly I would have thought! - otherwise it's a fantastic buy!.

We've had the Special Edition since mid jan and i have to say that its done nothing but impress us!! its mainly the wifes car (as i have the Evo) but it goes well for an oil burner and looks the part. The interior is no hassle - only cleaned it once and thats because she got into it with new jeans that got wet in the rain

I could really do with my beloved Leon FR being detailed at some point. Good to find someone who could do it
