No prices as yet, but full spec, colours and options are now listed.

No light blue like the euro spec. You have a choice of red, two shades of grey, black or some weird pea-soup colour.
As my black Octavia was a nightmare to keep shiny, I might just plump for the red. Never been a fan of red tbh, but looks nice with the silver wing mirrors and grey alloys.

Electrochromic rear view mirror is an option, not standard. Also there's the bluetooth pack listed - I assume this also adds the mp3 compatible cd player??

Hopefully won't be too long now.

I see the two tier boot floor is now an option. Strange, I always thought that was meant to be one of the Altea's unique selling points.
Also, the space saver is now 16" rather than 18". (Europe previously had 16" or 18" options).

Spare wheel options now:

1) Space saver spare wheel
2) 16” Full size spare wheel + two tier boot floor
3) 16” Full size spare wheel for use with 17” alloys + two tier boot floor

In other words you can only have a full size spare with the two tier boot floor. Space saver wheel can with both boot types

the kw power is wrong 103kw = 140 bhp (should be 125kw)...the 0-60 shows 9.3 when it should be 8.6s also max torque is more than 236lbs...this is the 140 bhp engine figure

Still, you would wonder that they bother to make the false floor an option...after all, it can't really cost that much just to put it in as standard (Waits for SpareMan to come back with a price);)

I thought the two tier floor was a selling point... perhaps someone said that... I could be a stick in the mud and the fancy dipping mirror is extra... it all adds up as they say ;). Distant Sun I thought you were saying on your bottom line above that you had a Phillips Phillishave as an option... ;)... err the crap Phillips speakers come free. Mind you better be carefull else the anti Seat Altea brigade will arrive ;).

So book figures basically mean mucho quicker than a FR TDi Ibiza? Then a nice remap to just over 200bhp such = fast as f00k family car :D

Did someone notice that overtaking time in 5. gear is the same on both models?

Stronger engine could make a litle diference

I already ordered Altea FR and i was thinking that overtaking time will be a litle beter from my Altea 2.0TDI which I already own.

Altea FR
Maximum speed(km/h) 208
Acceleration 0-100 Km/h (s) 8.6
Overtaking time 80-120 km/h at 5. ratio (s) 8.9
Overtaking time 80-120 km/h at 6. ratio (s) 11.5
Acceleration 0-1000m (s) 29.9

Altea 2.0 TDI
Maximum speed(km/h) 201
Acceleration 0-100 Km/h (s) 9.9
Overtaking time 80-120 km/h at 5. ratio (s) 8.9
Overtaking time 80-120 km/h at 6. ratio (s) 11.1
Acceleration 0-1000m (s) 31.4
