Altea 2.0 TDi - DTC Code - Need A Little Help

Can anyone help me from going deaf!!!!!!!! The missus wants to drive her new car to work NOW!!!!

Bought the missus an Altea (from auction, don't shudder it great) been after one for a while, it was cheap and of course with cheap there are always issues.....only it has the check engine light on......

I've gone all thrifty and bought me self a U480II off ebay to check....3 codes came up....

1 FAULT

and

2 Pending FAULTS
P2102 P- Throttle Actuator Control Motor Circuit Low
P2100 P- Throttle Actuator Control Motor Circuit/Open

After a bit of digging found a website which told the P02XX are Fuel and Air metering, and another which told me the P is for pending! So no worries on that front as yet!!

So basically the light is on for the other fault BUT it states N/A ...now here is where I'd like some of your guidance....is it a "STOP" the car and take to Seat to sort or is it that the U480II is limited in info and I need a better reader?????

Update.........
The Pending faults, from what I've found on the internet seem to indicate as VW say the "Motor Intake Manifold Flap" think this is below the EGR has anyone else had this problem? Is it a DIY clean to start with some carb cleaner??

Thanks bud, all sorted it was the IMF £206 from Euro Car Parts, plus the seal and gasket for the EGR, and a new fuse for F8. It was totally fcuked the mechanism had seized due to crunched cogs, only done 59K too. Would've expected this on my Fiat but not the missus's Altea. Thanks Again for linky!

seems to be getting quite common to have mashed cogs around 55 - 60k now...

Cogs were fine on mine, but the circuitry was fubarred and full of oil.
