Anybody got or seen the the Red/Black alcantara seat option? It would be good to get some pics or opinions. I have added it to my order but none of the garages near me have got it or seen it.

Um not one to piss on your bonfire but had a racing puma with alcantara seats front and rear and steering wheel. Would never buy a car with alcantara again. Yeh it looks great for the first couple of years but wears out way too quickly, difficult to clean, gets dirty and sticky easy and soon bobbles and looks a mess. Sorry!
I am hoping 10 years on they have evolved a better product. I guess I will find out in 2 years
I had an A6 with alcantara seats (half leather). Sold it when it was about 5 years old and the seats were in perfect condition.
my parents old Freelander had half leather/suede not sure how much of a difference there is between that and alcantara but it too after 5 years was pretty perfect, all depends on the amount of abuse it gets! same as everything...
