Hi guys

the lil shits in my street think its bloody funny to steal things off the cars such as aerials, number plates, they havent targeted badges yet but its only a matter of time.

i dont have my car at the moment but they seem to be targeting my mums car and im concerned that they will start on mine when i get it back (theyve already let one of my tyres down 2 weeks ago).

Im looking to get an alarm fitted that has a Perimeter sensor as such so that when someone goes near it, it starts beeping at them as a warning. My ex had one on his golf GTI and it was really good so im wondering where is the best place to get one of those from.

Any ideas?

thats not good , but kids being kids if you had a sensor that beeped everythime some thing or some one went near it i would think they would just try to set that off for fun , you would want to make people to ignore your car not make it more obvious.

i think unfortunatly no matter what you do (short of having flame throwers on the side like james bonds 7series), they will still **** around with the car as they are shits and dont really care as if an alarm goes off they just run away anyway.

I would personally get a good quality (crucial if the police need to get involved) cctv camera and have that pointing over the car. Won't prevent anything but would be useful for seeing whos done what.

i thought it might be a good idea to have that fitted so if i hear it beepin it will make me go and check on it as i park it outside the front of my house but i agree that these lil sods dont care and they probably will try and set it off just for shits and giggles.

at the moment it only seems to be my mums car which is getting targeted which is a brand new Mini One but as my tyre has been let down by these lil ASBO'S its only a matter of time before they start kickin the wing mirrors off or keying the cars.

CCTV seems the way forward i think

Sorry if I sound defeatist, but I used to live on a street that sounds like yours and didn't resolve the problem til I moved out to the middle of nowhere in the country.

Trouble is the little gits don't have any respect for people, property of police. ASBOs are a badge of honour for them.

its ok i didnt think you sounded defeatest and i can see where youre coming from.

i agree the lil shits dont take a blind bit of notice but if i catch em ill fg kill em!!

it annoys me that you work hard to buy something you really want only to find some ASBO has damaged it coz they think its funny.

i got an alarm with a pager on it, when it beeped i went out with my bar n beat the scrotum with it. Unfortunately i also got done for asault n had to pay the turd compensation.
On the upside i never had anymore damage done to my car.

Ive been around to all of the houses in my street posting them letters to let them know whats been happenin and it turns out im not on my own.

a guy down the road has a classic shape Scooby and its really nice but hes had his tyres let down on all 4 wheels 7 times in the last 5 weeks, hes had to replace them 4 times where the walls have broken down and as you are aware tyres aint cheap. he thought it was a neighbour who hes had a falling out with but as we are having the same done to us he now knows its not them. he has CCTV but had it disconnected as nothing had happened for 2 years and since he disconnected it hes had nothin but trouble.

Its just a shame that you work hard for somethin nice such as a car only to find some lil **** wants to ruin that for you.
