alarm probs

my 05 plate leon fr alarm goes off for no reason at all and the boot open light stays on all the time, sometimes faintly.

had this prob before and was the boot lid filling up with water, work done under warranty.

done it again now 6 months later, (at least i think it this again)

anyine else had this prob as mine is the only one that has done this that i know of.

at £500 a chuck to sort then gonna be gettign rid once warranty runs out.

I can guarantee it will be the elbow in the back left hand panel (behind the boot light) this elbow will have come apart and everytime you squirt your rear washer it is soaking the loom for everything electrical for the back end, stupidly there is a joint in the loom right next to where the elbow is..... so water and electrics.....

yeah thats what happened last time, what a stupid design, is there a long term solution,

as when the warranty runs out its gonna be £400 a chuck to get this sorted as it usually destroys the alarm contacts before you notice anything
