do these resistors work that you buy off ebay

im running revo software, milltek turbo back exhaust, forge, dv, forge tip and forge fmic plus a custom cold air intake
was recently dyno'd at 209bhp 244lb/ft though i hoped for more tbh

im runin revo software, bailey dv, cda induction, n249 bypass, supersprint cat back, gonna fit a laguna fmic next couple of weeks ,neuspeed front and rear uprated anti roll bars,seat strut brace had two runs 177 bhp at 232lbs feet is this good i dont know cos only got on the forum like 2 days ago and i dont know anyone else that has one!!!!!!!!

the tip is the black hose which connects to your air box/filter....this then connects to the turbo and also accommodates the dv and check valve.

the aftermarket forge ones are excellent...they allow the air to flow more freely and are alot stronger so will not collapse under load.
ow yes, is it worth gettin one before i change my turbo to ko3s, also can you look at my mods earlier in the convo see what you think of stats for the parts i have added cheers!!!!

check ALL your hoses, look for holes, cracks, make sure nothing is loose
you got any lights up on the dash at the mo??
with revo, cda etc.. i would expect to be in the 190's minimum

rr debatable, plus without fmic...who knows seen a few very healthy ones produce similar figures on stock cooling
if your gonna get a k03s fitted, then you might as well get a forge tip. pointless fitting the turbo and keeping stock restrictions. in my opinion
i see what your saying, but good cooling or not, IMO it should be making more power than that, whatever the RR, the map alone should take it further than 177 surely?
ohyeah deffo but theres so much depth to go into as to why it 'might' not produce the estimated figures that its purely not worth the effort. come on smithy, your like me, dont give a toss what the dyno says.
at 177bhp i wouldn't be too worried about exploring any potential problems, could purely be down to the rollers, their cooling methods or the cars cooling system.
my car made 162bhp or so after revo, but straight after the session it outpaced a car that achieved more on the day
with the addition of a downpipe and fmic and a different set of rollers i got a 47bhp gain....

sorry i have the sps2 with the four bar reg and set up to my exhaust and cda, i think its poor cooling of turbo myself had a light on then it used to go off by its self had ecu read said engine coolant temp sensor only being runnin it a week no light as yet, plus i have othe problems, had new sps1 installed blew a coil pack that day, and have blown 7 since????????????? any suggestion?????????
