Aircondition very cold at main vents, warm at windshield and in footwell

Hi.

My car suddenly began blowing cold from all four main vents pointing at the driver and front passenger, while the windshield vent and footwell vents blow warm air. Most problems I find relating to a similar issue seem to split left and right instead.

If I measure the temperature in the middle of the car with a thermometer, the temperature is almost exactly what I set the aircon to, but noticeably cold air blows from the main vents. Even at 23 degrees C the aircon blows nearly ice cold air from the four main vents.

The issue started out of nowhere between two drives close together, around half an hour of pause. It's bad enough to be uncomfortable to drive with.

I've already tried to calibrate the vent doors multiple times, but that hasn't fixed it.

Thank you for the help.

Try cycling hot to cold to hot to cold a few times, and cycle though the different positions face/feet/screen. - this has helped me in the past.

If not - it could be a servo motor or flap has seized/broken.
