Is the AC supposed to be ice cold? I've had mine serviced and regassed this year - oh and I replaced a corroded compressor pipe. But in all honesty, its cool but not cold cold.

Mine certainly isn't ice-cold, especially on really hot days. I have wondered about getting mine serviced and regassed, but opinion seems divided on whether it will make any difference.

Out of interest, how did you decide where to get the servicing done? Do any SEAT dealers do that sort of thing? If you went to a third-party company, does that affect the warranty?

As mine had a leak before, once I had changed the pipe, I asked then to purge it and put some Forte AC Conditioner in the system. This is all part of the "service". After this the system was regassed. Mine was done by the local Pug dealer who were part of my local group that had SEAT in it. Cant see a problem with warranty. Mine was £76 all in, but shop around as I've seen them for £40 around here. It will defo make a difference, but like you when the temps are 30 plus out side its only cool.

Also noticed today that the AC temp was speed affected. If iwas doing between 30-60 the temp was cool, but anything around 80 and it was slightly cool. Is this normal or do I have a problem.
