Aircon problem

Just had my Special edition 10000 mile service, reported several faults from new, including a noise from the aircon unit, sounded a bit like a cricket chirping in slow motion, occurred mainly on auto, fan speed 2.
They claim it was due to under gassing of the system from original build, from memory he said it showed 200 odd when it should have been 400 (whatevers) also stated that this was not an unknown problem. They re-gassed the system and it does seem fine now.
Also had the software upgrade, engine seems smoother.

Klawit is your man for this one I think, he published it first. To me it sounds like this VW / Seat fault posted up here where they reset the aircon and that stops the clicking. I think it's talked about when I said my aircon stopped working, circa July time and I pulled the fuse out and that fixed it. There is a reset combination key strokes that is used for the reset that sorts the clicking out..... Mine never clicked mind you, just packed up on a hot day.

Thanks i read those threads, but as it was working and would be in for service just waited, i was more interested in the claim that the system was undergassed and that they had seen several Seats with the same problem. I suspect they were telling porkies on that one, he was implying that they were manualy filled.... er no.
But at least the rattle in drivers door has gone, was driving me mad.
