Aircon Clutch Required ?

Hi Guys, The wifes Aircon has given up, after spending 2 hours under the car yesterday, between the rain :-( I've discovered that the aircon clutch plate has broken, all power gets to the aircon pump, so therefore I think that will be ok. What I want to know is it possible to just buy the compressor clutch unit & if so where from, & not the complete motor unit @ £175 or more?

Anybody got an old aircon clutch for sale, I've managed to mod an old one but not sure how long it will last as I'ts not driving via the splines, PLEASE HELP !!!!!

u can get the clutches on there own, but they cost nearly as much a s a new compressor. best bet would be to change the whole thing.
