AirBags Scanning (Help)

Ive got a Little airbag light on the dash and with it turned on the ''Air Back Tab'' on the dash flashes..

We've used vagcom and found nothing but when we Scanned the Airbag section a warning comes up sayin scanning this controller can Damaged the Units them selfs..

It does give a time,Make & Year but i wanna be sure that it wont effect the leon...

Any info would be great

check the the connection under the seats, make sure they are tight , then get the fault cleared with vagcom

IIRC that only affects 2000-2001 Models from VW lineup

Im preety sure last time i Error scanned a LCR 210 i ran the airbag scan and it caused no problems


One way to check it wont affect it tho is to locate your Airbag controller and check the part number , According to Users manual for Vag-Com the part number affected is 6Q0-909-605-A
