My airbag light is on. I run vagcom which says drivers head airbag intermittent ground.
It sometimes goes out for a few weeks if I clear it but it comes back. Ive checked the yellow connector under seat & it seems ok.
Anyone know which is the Earth wire on the connector? I was gonna try & run a new wire to ground but dont want to blow the system by using wrong wire!

The seat airbag or the connector has nothing to do with the head airbag. Apparently you don't have much experience with this type of system. Please have it checked by a specialist. There are test strips to check exactly what is defective.

I have plenty experience! I have vagcom & have fault, I clear fault but it comes back after some weeks. I am simply trying to find out the wiring colours !
I suspect there could be a broken earth wire.

then register with Erwin, download the documentation from your car. I'll stay out of the topic now.
