Hi All,

DRove my car last night with no problems at all this morning my girlfriend has taken the car to work (i know i'm mad) and she says the airbag light has come on any ideas

Ive got the same with mine, could be a few different things to be fair. Ive spent many days off work going through trail and error.

Now mine was the front passengers crash censor, checked the footwell and it was soaking.

Really you need to hook the car up to VAGCOM and that will tell you exactly were the issue is. If you dont have a copy or know anyone with one, go to your local VAG specialist and they will do it for you. They will charge you £20+ for the priviledge though.

If you find out were the issue is you can then work out weather you can fix it or you need to get it to the dealer.

The censor in mine is £130 just for the part, which I have on order :cry: Damn Airbags are expensive [:@]

excellent thanks my mate has VAGCOM so i'll get him to hook it up my footwell is soaked just waiting for dry weather to get some sealent on

Well i had sealed the car this weekend as per the instructions but the drivers side is still getting wet so think i might try putting more sealent on

i was luckily enough that when my doors leaked, the car was still under warrenty, so the seat dealer resealed my doors. not sure how expensive it would be, but it hasnt let a drop in since.

Might also be worth checking the cover on your pollen filter is fitted properly. I took the cover off once and didn't fit it perfectly back on, and the next day when it rained, the passenger foot well was drenched - and so was I when i was farting around in the rain trying to fit it properly
