air flow meter

hi i was just wondering if it would make any differince puttin a cupra r air flow meter on my cupra.

It would read wrongly, causing your engine to run badly. Your car's map is designed to use the readings from your oem MAF.

Only buy a Bosch replacement MAF from dealers/ EuroCar Parts etc - do not use any other

also try GSF, probably one of the cheapest places around for Bosch OEM part

if you search hard enough you can find the sensor replacement rather than the whole housing too and replace that for less. Got me a new genuine bosch sensor from ebay for 30 quid, you need a specialist torx screwdriver for the screws though

gsf 58 plus vat exchange for your old maf, or plus 25 quid non exchange... genuine bosch item.

Trying cleaning the old one first with electrical contact cleaner. Two minute job. Solved the problem for me on a previous car.
