air filter and pipes

hi again people

its me again with my ibiza 1.2
i am trying to fit my air filter. i have taken the box off (which covers the engine an holds the air filter panel) and disconnected the breather pipe will i need to reconnect them? as i dont want to put the box back on.

ok well you don't have to fit the air box back on and the air breather pipe will need afilter on it.iv got a bmc cda induction kit on my ibiza and i just fitted one of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HIGH-QUALITY-...14&_trkparms=72:1301|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318 it does the job

cheers mate. there is another pipe which goes from the air box to the thermostat (well my mate thinks its the thermostat) any ideas about this??

am not to sure what that will be mate, what engine have you got?

its the 1.2s mate...the air filter box has two breather pipes coming off it..one from the engine to the box..also one from the box to the thermostat ( think its that )

alrite mate, well your best of trying to find someone with a 1.2 thats fitted one because iv got a 1.4 fs and from what a can remember when i fitted mine there was only one breather pipe.
