Hi guys,

new to this place, but found it trying to figure this one out. I've only noticed now after having my '03 Ibiza Signo for a while, that my air controls aren't working right.
Heat is fine and so are the fans, its the vent directional controls aren't working.
I took apart the centre console to have a look and found that the flexible cable going from the vent direction knob, isn't connected to anything and because its a craped area i have no idea where to look to find where it plugs into.
any of you have any idea's where this hooks onto? or woult anyone have pics on this?
pity theres no Haynes book for my model i tell ya

had a look and behind each knob there is a cable and at the end of that is a screw thread that lines up with the air distribution flape and as you turn it the screw thread moves the flap
if the cables are attached to the knobs than your going to have to remove the whole centre console to access the flaps
if the cables arnt atached to the knobs then you need to remove the radio then the trim around the radio and heater controll, there are serveral screws that hold this in place once this is removed you will see the main part of the heater controll this unclips by 4 clips two on each side you will then be able to remove in out and gain access to the back of it!

That looks good.
The last picture looks like where i need to reconnect the cable.
but in relation to the air controls themselves, wheres that screwthread mechanism?

i think the two outside vents you can access by taking the fuse pannel off on the drivers side and the same pannel on passengers as for the two middle vent you might have to look underneath fropm inside where the radio goes

i'm having trouble figuring out exactly where this mechanism is.
is it down low, or up around the stereo height.
should i be able to see the flap mechanism, or is it hidden and i have to just push the cable into random area;s to see if it plugs into something

anyone any idea's
