Hi got 2004 1.9tdi and saw on of the buttons is jammed on the air con panel. to take it out do I need to remove the radio and unscrew the fascia from there or is there another way of doing it?air con works fine but the "-" button on temp control is cracked and jammed. Can I just replace the panel and not touch the rest, and would a panel from a leon do the job?

Elsawin says that you have to remove the radio - I haven't done the job myself though. It isn't just a switch panel though, the whole aircon control unit is mounted there, the panel is just the front face.

My 2002 Toledo's air con panel lcd display has started to fail on the left side, all the left side buttons have become sticky to use unlike the bottom buttons and right sided buttons which all work fine. I was looking at ebay and they have the units on there for 150 notes which is expensive but still cheaper than the dealers £450 quote, but getting it out looks very tricky indeed. Let me know how you get on!
