 I'm with Rob - bring on global warming. We seem to be getting hotter days in the earlier months of the year and if this is a result of global warming - I say bring it on.

The worst that can happen is the earth exploding in 200 years by which time I will be dead and so will my kids and their kids and possibly their kids as well.

I also agree with the comment re old men. I remember back in the day (my dad's old Vauxhall Cavalier which went two years ago) when the only thing to keep people cool was manual wind-down windows and a sunroof which could only be tilted by about 10degrees to let in a draft. We are spoilt with air-con/climate control and cold air heaters that work.

Rock on global warming and we may never need to go outside of the British Isles for heat again - Cobraman:funk:

Since this thread, I'm driving around with 21 degrees air-con on my CC. That after-winter first aircon blast smell is horrid. I hope my current efforts will combat this.

Oh, incidentally.. global warming is a sham :)

Just one point in the argument against it... we're cooler now, on average, than we were during the Medieval ages (where English temperatures would be considered tropical, compared to averages now) and in addition to this, since 1940, temperates have slowly dropped (on average) between then and 2007. Hardly in keeping with the idea that the world is getting hotter.

It was a poorly conceived idea set in place in the 80s during Thatcher's England. It's now big-business. Lots of company and corps. have sunk money and time into it and things like carbon off-setting are making people rich.

Google @ "The Great Globwalwarming Swindle". A documentary Channel 4 ran a couple of months ago, which in itself was a great risk. It features such figures as the co-founder of Greenpeace... openly admitting to resigning his chair at Greenpeace due to this insanity bandwagon known as global warming.

No evidence of it, at all. etc. etc..

(Sorry. All this green-tax crap is getting on my nerves)
