air con cleaning

Hi all. I have still got my smelly air con prob so have just bought some stuff to squirt inti air con unit itself. Any ideas where??? Nothing in engine compartment looks anything like instruction diagram on bottle. No clues from drivers manual either.
Any sensible suggestions will be greatly received

You can buy a 'bomb' from places like halfords and such. Its basically an aerosol that you turn on and leave in your car as the aircon/climate control is on. The aerosol has anti-bacterial agents as well as smellies that help get rid of the odour from the aircon system.

just make sure you set your climate control to recirculate.. i didnt the first time and it all got flushed outside *embarrased smiley*

go out and buy a new pollen filter, spray both sides of the filter with the spray, you can also spray it down the heater vents but let the car air a bit, leave the doo open for a bit or ull be overwhelmed by the smell
