Air bag warning light on

Hey Guys,

Wonder if anyone can help me out here or maybe point me in the right direction...

I have a Leon 04 TDI SE 130, and I was doing some ICE install in it and had to remove the glove box.

I did all the work with the ignition off obviously, but whilst testing it i turned the ignition back on. Now due to the glove box being out the Air bag switch for the passenger air bag was disconnected, so I wasnt suprised when the air bag light lit up.

The problem is that now even with it all connected and the switch to the "on" position, the airbag warning light comes on.

Is this just the car being picky becuase it was once disconnected?

There is nothing wrong with the air bag and its all connected, so how do I get it to work normall again?

Cheers,

James

Take it to a dealer ask them to clear the fault and see if it comes back if your lucky you wont have to go back to the dealer 6 time before they decide to replace the airbag like i had to but mine wasnt due to ICE it just came on

Do you think they will charge me for this?

Could someone with Vag Com do it?

Just a thought - have you tried replacing the fuse? The only reason I say this is because that was the fault on a Cupra I test drove today.
