Air bag light

I removed my seats today but had a prob with one of the air bag plugs, got it all sorted now but the airbag warning light is still on is there any way i can switch it off using vag com or will i need to see the dealer?

yeah you should be able to do it with vag.com as long as the connection is all ok on the seat, just go and select airbags in the fault code finding section on vag.com and clear those suckers away

what is the real risk of scanning the airbag section, is there a problem of deployment , i know vagcom warns you about this ,

i doubt it, they are just covering there backs

yeah, i've been into the airbags section so many times i've lost track doing fault checks etc, never seen anything happen (touch wood!!!)

we're gonna get our local friendly SEAT aquiantence to do it on his lunch break , steven lost his balls when i went to scan it , would of been quite expensive if they went off
