Hi All,

I'm thinking about changing the head unit in the Exeo and just wondered what you were using??

Obviously double-din, would have to have Sat-Nav and work with the steering wheel controls/phone etc. Ideally I'd like to get DAB and maybe a USB to be able to charge a phone.
Not much to ask hey :D

I've seen a load of these cheaper chinese ones, anyone have one?? Are they any good??

Anyone using anything from the more mainstream companies like Alpine etc??

Cheers,
Paul

Not cheap but on the LEON they give you the modern communication but also allow you to use all the on car stuff
A lot of good head units out there but and its a big but they done support the car functions.

I have the much hated Pioneer AVIC 930BT "factory upgrade". To be perfectly honest I don't think it is that bad. Yes, it does turn itself off every now and again, I think mine did this about 4 of 5 times in the 10 or so months I owned the car. It is not ideal but hardly the end of the world either. Apart from that it has a decent sat nav, BT handsfree, BT music streaming, DVD video playback, USB/SD card options, and I could even hook up a reversing camera to it.

Removed my factory fitted rnse and installed an alpine ILX700, all the steering wheel controls work apart from the speech button and the top section to the drivers information display....
