After reading the thread about the "bolt on" aero wipers that fit on your existing arms, plus the fact most people who have them complain about lifting etc, I did a search for threads on full conversions for the Leon, but only found part numbers for the Ibiza.

So could someone answer my below questions please :)

How easy is it to do the full conversion?

What part numbers do I need for the front conversion fro my Leon FR TDI (arm/blade/cap)?

Where can I get them from and how much roughly in total is it?

I am gonna buy the rear fabia conversion as a whole item off eBay

Will this fit OK?

Oh right, thought that was a Fabia rear wiper

I take it I can go into a Skoda dealer and just ask for a Fabia rear wiper kit then, arm/blade/bolt and cap?

What about front conversion, is it worth doing? my dealer fitted new wiper blades b4 I bought the car, the passenger one is catching allready and the drivers side one looks, well small to say the least

You may need to order it first, they normally only have the blade in stock - here are the part numbers & prices

Fabia Estate Wiper Blade - 6Y0955425 4.06 inc

Fabia Estate Wiper Arm - 6Y6955707(A?) 11.87 inc

Fabia Hatchback Wiper cover - 6Y6955435 1.80 inc

Not sure on the front one;s mate - my standard blades are crap & always have been, just haven'lt been @rsed to change em !!

It's to do with the water nozzle so there is room to squirt over the back window (no jokes please!!)

Didn't think about the bolt - I'm sure you could re-use your exisiting one.

Easy enought to do, unscrew old one, put new one on.

See Pab's site www.leoncupra.co.uk - it was down yesterday though, sure it will be back up asap

Just ordered these items form Capitol and the parts will be in on Sat morning :)

The parts chap said the Fabia Estate Wiper Arm - 6Y6955707(A?) was an incorrect part number, so I said just order a Fabia Estate Wiper arm, will this be OK?

Think he said the closest he had to that was 6Y5955707

Sure it will be - I emailed those codes to a Skoda garage & they sent me back the prices - he might have used his initiative though lol

Meeeep Meeeeep !!!!!
The front Aero wiper conversion is very easy to do.
Remove the caps from the base of the wiper arms and undo the nut. Then with a little force (and some WD40 helps) pull the arm away from the car.
Slight left and right movements also help while pulling the arm off.

With the passenger side. You will need to put the new Aero arm 3 notches higher than the standard arm so that the blade doesn't hit the windscreen seal.
