Been toying with the idea of an Aero kit on my red cupra. I think the cost is the reason I have deliberated so much for so long. Can I have people's opinions on whether it would look cool on an Emocion red Cupra and whether the standard LHS oval exhaust position, central or double positions look best?

Also can the bumpers and skirts be taken off and replaced with the original cupra bumpers for re-sell or if not liked?? Anybody done this?

Hi there, got a red emocion leon also, it's not a cupra but really makes no difference with the whole style of the car maybe the performance :p

Anyway heres a few pics ( aint the best and I got seat centre caps on the rs4's now so make a huge difference, subtle but nice. )

I got the kit fitted when I bought new so the garage kept the oringinal bumpers for future repairs or w/e to other cars, so I got the full kit cheaper.

If you wanted alot of people like the front of the cupra and get the side skirts/spoiler and btcc back bumper.

Gl with your choice.

that does look cool mate, thanks for the pics. i'd be wanting to keep the bumpers and stuff coz i might wanna put them back on if possible. i think the skirts and spoiler look brilliant, but without the front bumper i find the blend from skirt to normal cupra bumper a bit of a 'step' from a certain angle. i know lots of people do it though.

while i'm not a huge fan of any body kits (i have no extra bits on mine) i think they can look good on other peoples cars.

CLICKY

the problem is its hard to stand out from the crowd with the aero kit as its the only (oem) leon option.

Bumpers can be swapped in about an hour. I would avoid the Aero bumpers myself as I think they are ugly, but each to their own.

The best Cupra combo is skirts and spoiler only. On red, it looks the dogs nads especially with black wheels.

Hi! I have to admit I slightly cheated - I bought a set of stickers which looked like the real deal - black with the silver "S" badge of Ebay for £10 including delivery, it was easy for me to just stick them straight on as the centre cap was plain with no logo's or anything like that so all I did was measure it and looked for the correct size of stickers on ebay then stuck them on + there adhesive and you could add a bit of super glue to insure they stay on , simples.

Similiar to these cept with out the weird metallic stuff on it..http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SEAT-Wheel-Center-Hub-Caps_W0QQitemZ150339309424QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyre_Trims_Trims_ET?hash=item150339309424&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318

i went for the aero bumpers cos i felt this helps the car look more pronounced on the road,
I also kept with the side oval exhaust as this helps to show the difference between the cupra and other models, it also keeps the cost down as there is no exhaust conversion needed.
Mine is Inferi black though and not red so the body kit doesn't stand out so much, i still think the areo kit looks cool, but as mentioned earlier, each to there own.:)
What ever you decide the car is still awesome!

This is one of the reasons I am glad the Cupra does not come with it as standard as it would not stand out because of all the lookalikes.

The Cupra the rarest form of the MK2 Leon luckily. There are probably as many MK2 Leons with Aero bumpers as there are FR's and Cupras combined.

Personally i prefer the twin exhausts. Symmetry is everything.

Think ill order and try them out. Did you spary some protection over stickers when they were stuck on? Would prob not do any harm. You got a pic of the stickers installed?

HI I dont have a picture of them on as of yet, got a problem with the camera :( , I found the actual item I bought its similiar to the one you were looking at http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110317478541

As for spraying protection you could but I didnt bother and they still look sound after a few long distance journeys after being battered with dirt etc..

I've got a aero kit on mine and really like the look. I've got the double exhause (one either side) and think that looks best. Not a great fan of the K1 style middle exhaust personally.
