Aerial ripped off!

In a fit of lazyness I let a carwash rip my aerial off!

It now looks like a little pile of electronics, there'se no black plastic bits left, and receptions unsuprisingly gone.

My locaal dealer wants 90GBP to replace the aerial and mount it. Does this sound about right? I'd have a go myself, but it looks like a headlining out job to undo the 'battered stump'

Yes I know....

I didn't know you could pull it off, only drop it down and dropping it down for a car wash didn't look like the answer...

OK ta, I'll get the parts bought and give it a go..
cheers

Bit of an old thread revival here I know but...

Headlining down a bit at the rear then get the spanner in to undo, easy.

How do you get the headlining down at the rear enough to access the aerial base? Is it just the plastic trim along the top of the boot opening that needs removing? I've tried doing this but it looks like the clips on the plastic trim are going to break so don't want to pull too hard, is it as simple as pulling it to remove it or is there a particular method?

Any help would be much appreciated as I need to replace the base because the aerial screw has snapped off inside it :(

Managed to get the clips off with a bit of brute force (and a screwdriver) as advised Lee :)
Took a few pics to for reference in case anyone else needs to remove it so they know what they're working with, but Photobucket is being a slow turd so I'll upload them later.
