advise please

hello looking at lcr tomorrow with a revo sps 1 remap to 270bhp
it also has an adjustable boost controller fitted with lower and high boost
my concern is the owner never had it done and does not know what it is boosting at and stuff about the remap,my concern is that how to know the boost has not been set to high and has already caused damage advise please
not sayin it is or is not just nervous

Does it have a boost guage - that'll tell you!
My advice - If you ain't sure about a car and neither does the guy that owns it,
then i wouldn't touch it!

no boost gadge
spoke to guy today sound bloke but he does not know the boost so was little nervous of it not been set right when it was done

If it was done right, which you have no idea that it was, there wouldn't be a problem!
BUT!
You don't neither does he, so you have a choice, run the risk or run a mile!

If you are spending a large amount of cash on this car and your not 100% happy about it, i'd consider looking for something more standard so you know it's condition.

I'd forget about the boost controller (or remove it). Set the SPS to immobiliser to ensure that it actually has Revo, then be happy with 260+bhp
