Hi all,
I'd like to upgrade the front brake on my140 Altea prior to a remap and am going to fit 312mm discs and new carriers to use the standard calipers.
I presume that it's a straightforward job , removing the calipers and standard carrier, then swaping the discs, fitting the larger carriers and refittting the standard calipers with new pads reusing all the standard bolts.
One question though, I note that the 312 discs are thicker than the original ones, so when the caliper pistons are pushed back into the caliper to accomodate the new thickness of disc wont this force excess bake fluid back into the master cylinder and cause it to overflow.
