My daughter has only recently passed her driving test.
She's bought herself a kia picanto but has had a non fault rtc this week.
Other party admitted liability, I've driven her car home, the rtc was in our street.
She's been loaned a brand new golf, v nice! It looks like her car will be written off. The damage isn't bad, bumper, wing mainly. Is it hard work to buy it back? Spoken to a mechanic earlier he says he can fix it.

Shame the other party didn't just pay upfront for the damage and save the claim. Could probably find a wing and bumper in the same colour for couple of hundred quid.

I would speak to your insurer and find out how much they are going to pay you, and then weigh up if that amount would buy another similar Golf against fixing the damaged one. Don't accept their first offer, look up similar mileage/condition Golfs for sale before contacting them, so you can better argue your case.
