Hi folks,new to the site so be gentle.
Buying a 2005 19tdi Toledo stylance, 60,000 on clock. Sales guy says belt is ok untill 90,000!!!!!!!!!! this can't be right or is it?:help::confused:

As far as I recall the belt should be good to go for 80k miles. Although there is also the 4 years time interval which should be adhered to, in which case the belt is due any time soon regardless of mileage.

My Toledo 1.9 tdi is 4 years old and done 58,000 miles so at dealers recommendation had new belt fitted today by Seat dealer. Total cost £275 inc. VAT. Could have been cheaper elsewhere but peace of mind with dealer.
