hehehe sounds like someone was out having fun then Tell Dave if he is getting a remap imagine what the Boca will be like once it's double blowers gets chipped as well
I can really imagine these things will be rapid with a remap, even a mild one at 200BHP.
Only problem I can see is I think the power band will be moved up the rev range which will put the DSG out. If manual mode is ACTUALLY fully manual you'll make use of it. If it thinks it’s cleverer than a human and changes gear without permission you won’t get the full power. A DSG remap will be needed to remove the involuntary changes in manual mode if this is the case.
mhill make sure you point out to them that there are no remap out for the car yet. It is all down to the power to weight and the short gears.

Ah yes but he's driving a much more expensive car so it couldn't possibly be right that a cheaper car could keep up.
Although the S3 will have amazing grip and off the line performance all that weight and the quatro drive train must effect the overall wheel power.
