Hi,

Has anyone fitted or had fitted any additional gauges to thier car?? I'm looking to fit a boost gauge in mine but don't want it to look crap, just looking for ideas, photos or company/people to contact that might be able to help.

Thanks in advance

Tom

My girlfriends Smart 44 Brabus has 2 gauges on the dashboard and they look pretty sweet, but I have also seen a few cars where the gauges are in the A-Pillar bit and those look more discreet and not too 'in your face'.

I think it would look nice on the Leon to have them hidden away. If you had them on the huge dashboard of the MK2 Leon they are bound to stick out like a sore thumb.

I am sure there are loads of sites like needforspeed ect where you could source some generic gauges.

Good luck

The only place I know of is if you have a single DIN headunit, then you can use a gaugepod for 3 dials in the free slot.

Sensor connection to the engine depends on the engine type, TFSI see Golf V GTI, 1,9 TDI see leon 1M and the 2,0TDI i've got no idea about that one.

A firm that makes the pods and gauges is Raid HP www.raid-hp.de. You can find their stuff on ebay etc.

BTW the site says that there is an A pillar pod, but I think that is not possible since the Leon II has airbags there???

Oil temp is measured with a piece that goes between the engine and the oil filter if I'm not mistaken.
It's just screwed in between those two.
