Adaptive Cruise Control bug

Hi all,
My Leon has the XL pack on which includes the adaptive cruise control which will adjust its speed based on speed limit changes. The problem I've got though is that in many instances it changes the speed to kph not mph. For example, if I enter in to a 70mph speed it will correctly display the 70mph speed sign on the dash, it says "70 limit detected" but then sets my speed to 70kph which is 44mph. It then proceeds to use regenerative breaking to slow me down to 44mph. The car continues to show the 70mph road sign on the dash but the cruise setting down at the bottom right clearly shows 44mph. It does this in various places and entering various speed limits but not every time. Does any one else have this issue?

It’s certainly a known Issue on the mk8 Golf - various forum members over on golfgtiforum.co.uk and vwroc.com have experienced this.
