Right, here is one for you.

My Altea 2.0 TDI 140

TCS light came on and stayed on a few months ago, didn't really investigate as I found it intrusive and life is better without it.

Few weeks ago the tyre pressure warning light came on, found a puncture, had it repaired, was ok for a few days then came on and wouldn't go off again.

Read on here that it might be an ABS sensor so took them out in turn, cleaned them up and replaced. Last one I looked at (typical) had a lump missing out of it. Ordered a replacement.

Fitted replacement this afternoon, now have TCS, Tyre pressure warning light AND the ABS light.

Any ideas?

fault codes will come when I can get it to a garage, but then I'll know whats wrong with it anyway. Just wondered if anyone had come across this before so I know what I'm up against.

In changing the abs sensor I expected it to fix something not make it worse.

thanks, turns out the new abs sensor was faulty, replaced it today and am looking at just the TCS light on. Fault code is G201-brake pressure sensor.

G201 is located inside the abs hydraulic unit block unfontunetly is available as whole unit with abs/esp control module and really expensive.
