... just cost me £154 to replace MOT due so had to get it sorted and no time to do it myself. Sensors cleaned off, fault code still present, replace sensor, £154 lighter!
I had no time to faff about. I asked for them to check wiring and clean them first but in some ways a bit of a false economy as it ended up just being wasted labour. If I had access to vag-com or other diagnostic then again would have saved some money, but as ever I don't have it or couldn't get it quick enough!
Back ones are more expensive - its a Seat only part, but can get fronts from ECP. I've replaced front and back drivers side since Nov and the ABS light is coming on intermittantly again so other side must be going now.
Think I paid less than £150 in total to replace 2.

wasn't clear whether he wanted fronts or rears, but you are correct, rear sensor is about £77 inc VAT. So could only have fitted 1 side, leaves about £75 labour, probably about 1 hour, he was still over charged I think
bloody ell. 3 makes of abs sensor come up under gsf search, I imagine the most expensive, £37.50 is the rear possibly. The other 2 are priced at £21.50, I know you said u didn't have time though.
I'd have personally taken the bulb out behind the abs light than part straight away with that dosh, ouch.
