abs sensor fitting

HI all,
I have done searches but nothing showing on the fitting of the sensors, does anyone know if when i have fitted the sensors the fault codes will need to be re set, or will the car know that there is no longer a fault and switch the warning light off, or will i need to go through any re setting processes.

faults will more than likely stay on the ecu till cleared, but just as a fault message. It may still keep the light on though - hard to say.

battery reset should do it

disconnect both battery terminals for 30 mins or so then put back on this should work if not a vag com reset, but you should be ok

Yeah i will be disconnecting the battery any way, i am planning on getting vegcom but need a lap top first or a very long lead from my pc. so if the codes still show i will be able to deal with it then.....NOT paying Seat Derby £65 for two minutes work.

goto the meets section for where you live and ask if anyone has vag com on a laptop so you can meet new people and theirs always someone who'll help you out

once you fit the new sensor and take it for a drive the light will go out.
