Abs pump issues.. do they need coding

Hi folks am new here and I would like to say thanks for excepting me to the forum.
I would like to ask I have problems with my abs were it stays on regardless of key been in or out and broke it down to needing new pump
.I am wondering if can swap with another or do they need coded thanks in advance for looking I have attached pictures of the pump number I have abs light steering wheel light brake light flashing no speedo and wen plug pump back in it stays powered and and coul light comes up on dash aswell thanks

Typically they do need the coding changed to suit the car that they are fitted to, unless the sourced one comes from an identical model of car or an equivalent if from another VW Group marque car.

Are you sure that it is the ABS controller that is at fault, I would not expect it to be getting supplied with power when the key if out of the ignition - are you sure that you are not just looking at the "effect" and not the "root cause"?

Edit:- is that version of Ibiza not the one that "invented" wire chaffing?

I have checked all wires back and no cut or chafed wires that I can see. Wen the abs pump is plugged in it stays on ie can hear pump turning all the time and wen plugged in the coil light flashes on dash wen unplugged it drives fine other than abs light on steering wheel light on brake pad light flashes no speedo and fuel gauge fluctuates
