i got a new n/s/f harness today for my leon, one end comes with plugs, the other end is wires that obviously need to be connected into teh old one. Anyone done this? does it matter where abouts i cut the old one, as i guess it could mess with teh resistances ect ect?

im going to try, just to see if it work. TBH i have enjoyed having no abs, you suddenly realise how annoying it is. Although all my previous experiance with repairing abs looms is that it doesnt work. The wires work on very fine resistance tollerances, that if they are not the same as origional then it gets confused.

If you have to chop and join the wires the length will make very little difference compared to the method and quality of the join. That said, I wouldn't imagine them giving very sensitive resistance wiring as a repair kit.
