ABS Not working

I have a four year old Ibiza TDI 130 Sport due for it's MOT next week. I thought I'd give the brakes a quick test as they are now 45k miles old and I found that I couldn't get the ABS to activate even by standing on the brakes at 60mph. I booted it from a standstill and the TCS doesn't work now either (it's normally very noticeable).

Does anyone have any pointers as to why ABS wouldn't work? I would have expected a light on the dashboard to tell me.

get vag com on it make, will flag up any faults. That wud be you best bet for an accurate answer anyway, sure some other members will give some prctical advice as well, but Im crap with that lol

check all of your fuses first


there was a thread on this a short while ago and the fault was with an ABS sensor, quite cheep too IIRC

Thanks for the replies. I've booked it in for it's MOT with an independant SEAT garage so they are going to sort it at the same time.
