Mods: This got zero replies in my readers ride thread so please leave it here this time.

Done a hell of a lot of overtime this month so its time to treat myself :D

Two months ago it got a full suspension upgrade, springs, shocks, front and rear ARB and polybushes all over.

So now its time for something else, but i'm not sure what....

I am thinking maybe a forge FMIC from awesome but then not too sure to spend the rest on, maybe a better stage 2 map.

So here is the current spec list of the car:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was rolling roaded by AMD a few months ago and was just shy of 250bhp with 254 torque. They said the dv was on the wrong way, it needed a better filter (current is closed cone) and it was a hot day which didnt help. The dv is now on the right way and a big fat jetex is on order from Bill.

So.... What next? Help me spend my money !! :D

You could, If you've got the Milltek twin sports cat's sell them and put it in the pot.
I'v not seen any prices yet for the DP and cat I'm affraid, although after speeking to Milltek at the weekend they we're hoping to get cracking with it now the BTCC season is over, might be worth contacting AmD as they are doing a special offer on Milltek exhaust's and remap's

Well said..

I'm taking up this special offer soon as they confirm that the price of the new Milltek system is around the same as the older one. Good deal that. :)

I'd be laying under your car and seeing exactly whay DP and Cat setup that you have. If you have the OE DP & Milltek Cat, I'd be selling that on and buying a PipeWerx 3" DP & Sports Cat seeing as the Milltek one isn't out yet and it won't work any better than the offerings from BlueFlame or PipeWerx, plus it's likely to be over priced as are many of their items. I don't doubt that they do their job but certainly no better than some of the competition, the name satisfies the brand wh0res though.

Just trying to save you some money and would allow you to have both DP/Cat and a FMIC if you fit them yourself. :)

How about some 10mm spacers for the front axle and 15mm for the rear?

much cooler ACT's. the inlet mani suffers from bad heat soak after even a short run so the gasket helps to keep the heat from the enigine at bay.

Got a forge TIP already, forgot to write that in the spec, its there now :)

Got spacers, forgot about those too lol!!

Under the car I have seen what looks like a Miltek 200cell sports cat, which Im pretty sure it is, AMD thought so too. No idea what the downpipe is, not sure what the standard one looks like?

From the cat back, its just pipe welded together, no rear silencer, just the standard rear tip welded to pipe. Suppose this isnt the best solution either? It does sound awesome though, nothing like any other Leon ive heard. Pop's and burbles too, would hate too loose that :(

Pipewerx down pipe, thats from eBay isnt it? Would that fit to my Miltek cat?

Never been a fan of the blueflame rear tip, just like an oval that is chunky with nothing inside. Maybe I need to go custom?

Thank You :)

Sorry for the highjack Coops but perhaps this info might help you also :)

No worries mate, Im interested in it too, anything to bring down intake temps can only be good ?

Just fitted a dirty great Jetex filter last night, see my readers ride thread. Popped the bonnet this morning when i got to work and the filter was pretty hot. Going to look at running a cold air feed to it from the fog light when the FMIC goes on
