Sad, but true, and Humpty Dumpty wasn't sat on it at the time - and luckily I wasn't walking under it, which I had been an hour previously. Hello Seat Cupra.net world :)

Anyway, I've wanted a Leon for a while now, I was always a Capri girl but for the last 7 years my daily driver has been a '99 Toyota Corolla, whereas hubby's car has been a couple of incarnations of Leon FR diesels, until October, when he fell in love with an Audi A4 S line black.

Anyway, Saturday 6th Feb a 20' wall collapsed onto both our cars  Hubby's is being repaired but mine, of course, was a write off. I'm pretty peeved, to put it mildly, however it did give me the chance to get a Seat of my own, so, I've bought a Leon 1.2 tsi copa, late 11 plate in candy white.
It's been a fleet car, so very high mileage, but the flip side is that it's had everything done as it needed it, including the turbo a couple of thousand miles ago.

I really wanted a car with a winter pack, as I suffer with back issues and heated seats are an absolute joy:D It seems the previous owner had a bit of budget left over, and this one not only has heated seats, but they are leather, well posh! Also the sat nav, huge arm rest, dab radio, bluetooth, and even a flipping DVD player for the back - well, great, my greyhound can watch National Geographic for the bunnies and squirrels, woohoo! Downside is that it won't recognise my ipod :(

I have some very girly wants, probably. I want it to be as much like the FR's as possible with regards to headlights - I would like much brighter headlights, and also the function where the headlights come on at night when you unlock the car. I've been told that if I can find someone with the system that controls the computer in the cars that function can be added, and also that it should be possible to find someone to change the headlights - so I guess my questions are, is that true? And if so, I'm down in the West Country, near Yeovil in Somerset, so does anyone know anyone trustworthy in this area who can do either/both of the above?

Out of interest is it a 1.2 tsi?

I have a 1.2 tsi se copa and have the lights come on when you unlock it. If you have auto lights you should have it in the mfd to switch on

It is, yes - just noticed I'd got that wrong in my intro - so many thanks for that, I'll check it out, as I do have the auto lights :)
