so on with the first stage, karcher rinse, and a good soaking through the karcher:

I washed two bucket method, APC on arches and alloys, and then spent the next 30 misn or so trying asd best I could to clean those alloys :wall:

When I got them as good as I could, I rinsed down, attached the sud soaker and clayed the whol car with DP clay. Dried with my huge massive WW towels, two hours gone! :doublesho

Once dired I moved the car round and into the garage, and took the following PDG readings. Note the low side panel readings, this was gonna cause pain later, and resulted in RDS's being left in.

Nopw dry it was time to capture the 'before' shots:

With such a big job ahead I wasn't going to be mucking about, so out with the Metabo, and a polishing pad. Pionnacle Swirl Remover, and tested on the front wing first. Here's the half and half shot:

I continued with this process (but had to up to medium cut and Pinnacle advance swirl remover for bonnet and boot panles, and follow up with polishing pad and SR.

Next I used the PC, and a polishing pad to apply XMT Finishing glaze to the car, working well in to help clean and prep the surface.

With the paint sufaces prepped I was ready to start waxing:
