over the weekend, a big thanks to Ricky for the spacers, Rob and Rich at Forge for fitting the FMIC, not minding me hanging around, and helping sort out the little bits!
It was a pleasure to meet these are two guys, both great guys and Forge gets my recommendation!
Thanks for showing me around Rob, it was a nice touch to see this side of things, of how ou buld and it etc. PS. that new DV for the FSI motor looked adjustable, hmm would it work on a cupra letting out a little air creating the "woosh" sound many of the owners want. Although i suspect it would probably throw out error codes with the Narchy ECU.
Anyway pics:

on the ibiza it looks wierd, maybe stealthed up a bit would look better, i think its the double decker splitter that makes it look like the second slat is added on afterwards.

No, there isnt really that much room atall, i was gonna put some sort of mesh infront of it, but imo it looks good enough without it.. Iv had mine on for afew months now and now one mark on it yet (touch wood)

Yeah mate, spacers are a treat, i did mail back, but mails been playing up!
Jimyu - no mate no room for the grill, as for some cars you have to trim the bumper to get it to fit. Mine sits nicely snug up against the intercooler. I'll admit i was going to trim my grill down and refit it, but in my honest opinion it would ruin the look of the car.

Danregs - yeah mate i took them off as the spacers wouldnt go over the top of them.

Its an intercooler which is mounted on the front of the car, (FMIC - Front mount intercooler) basically its alot bigger than the standard Side Mounted Inter Cooler, allowing alot more air to flow through it, allowing alot more cooler air to get into the engine meaning a better mixture of denser (sp) air, and petrol fumes, meaning a bigger exothermic reaction, because of the denser air, allowing more petrol particles in the mix!
