A Fuse problem, i hope!

Was starting up the cupra last night and all of a sudden the central LCD screen went off and the CD/headunit and the illumination for the whole central part of the dash.

However the fan is stuck on...

Am i corect in thinking all of the above is on the same loop on the car electrics?

And are the fuses under the steering wheel?

not a fuse problem, wiring problem somewhere, doh!

Any common faults regarding the Stereo electrical loop?

ok man down, the whole central unit has a short in it and needs replacing

local garage reckons about £500....likely. Have just rung local SEAT and they are coming back to me with a price.

So has anyone got a central unit inc LCD screen etc for a 2001 Ibiza Cupra?!
