Hi,

Introduced myself a while ago, when i bought a 2000 cordoba cupra.
After a few problems enginewise its starting to look like maintenance can evolve to the tuning fase.

Few things i need info on:

I would like to do a k03s conversion beginning 2009, and would like to fit a FMIC, problem its kind of a tight fit with the aircon etc. Any ideas on what i need, dont feel like cutting up my frontbumper.

I would also like to do a conefilter under the battery, any thoughts on what is the best?

Well, i know forums are always picture horny, so im replacing all my vacuumhoses this weekend, and post some picas then.

For the curious among us, i did this so far:

- Replacing 2 coils
- New Air Mass Meter
- Redid my vacuum since the builder :censored: it up!!!! (which probably is the reason for the engine problem)

Hello fellow country mate

Finally there is a second member on here with a Cordoba Cupra. Welcome

The conversion you want to do in 2009 I have done.
As for fitting FMIC without cutting bumper, its gonna be very difficult. Many people on here run the THS universal IC (search and you'll find many threads and pictures) however getting it from UK to Netherlands might be expensive. Best bet is to look on Markplaats, tehre is a seller who has new IC's in exactly the same sizes for under 100 euro's.

here is my link to my 2002 cordoba

As for your engine troubles, be more specific and we might be able to help

Mindplay, by the way, why are you going for 3" DP? Its probably too big for your k03s. I advise you to go for 2.5" to match up nicely with your Jetex catback (i have exactly the same)

As for fitting golf DP, yes it fits I have one, however you need to adjust it with welding, plus they are too long. If you are not very handy, then I would advise to buy one from one of the companies that make fitting Downpipes
