60 K Service Costs - Bishops Stortord /Haverhill

Afternoon All,

yep its that time , i have just been quoted £650 for £60K service including cambelt and water pump, seems a bit steep going by what others on here have said.

this was from an independent, i will be do some ringing around but wondering is anyone in the Bishops Stortford / haverhill area knows of a garage at a good price?

well there is another post around started by myself, i am at the same service and have been quoted a range of figures for the service, cam belt and brake fluid change

sidlow seat - 695
frosts seat - 525
indy VAG specialist - 720

best bet is to just phine around all the places in your region

Bishops stortford and surrounding areas are filled with overpriced, poor quality mechanics. There is only one i'd ever take my car to and it's not cheap.
