I thought it had a 55 litre tanks, so allowing for a couple of litres in the filler neck this still seems high.
Has anyone else managed to get that much in a Leon?

It was midday last Sunday. Pump 2 at Shell Woodbridge Hill, Aldershot road, Guildford.
The petrol station attendant didn't care, and tole me to call Shell Customer services, so I did. Shell Customer services called the petrol station who told them that there was nothing wrong with the pump (as if they were going to say otherwise!).
I wonder how many times that I have been diddled at that garage?

If you are still mad call Trading Standards. They have a Weights and Measures group whose job it is to make sure that the pumps are accurate.

I have managed to put in 60 litres on a couple of occasions with Venting and after driving for a fair few miles after Zero miles on trip computer.

60 litres doesnt seem too much when I could get near 55 litres into my Ibiza....

It is possible to get 60 litres in, some people fill too early;)

If you go about 20-25 miles past where it says 0 on your display you can get around 60 litres in if you keep filling it past the clicks until it pours down the side of the car.

Is that with Venting?
I can only fill past 60 litres using Venting for the last 6 or 7 litres.....

yeah 55 L tank but theres are 7 Litre reserve!

most I got in my Leon was 57 L I think, I usually fill up when it hits 10-0 miles max as showing on the trip computer as on my Toledo the car just ran out of fuel when the trip comp. was saying 25 miles left!
